Abstract

The sustainability of educational institutions increasingly depends on educators' and other educational personnel's ability to adapt to organizational, technological, and professional challenges. This study aims to examine how integrating educator and educational personnel competencies contributes to sustainable institutional performance. The study also explores the strategic roles of professional development, digital transformation, organizational learning, and merit-based management in strengthening educational effectiveness. This study employed an integrative literature review, synthesizing scholarly books, peer-reviewed journal articles, policy documents, and international publications on educational human resource development and institutional performance. The collected literature was analyzed through thematic synthesis to identify key patterns, conceptual relationships, and strategic implications. The findings indicate that sustainable institutional performance is achieved through the synergy between educator competencies, educational personnel competencies, collaborative professional cultures, digital literacy, and organizational support systems. Competency development, continuous professional learning, and adaptive leadership emerged as essential factors in improving educational quality and organizational effectiveness. The novelty of this study lies in the concept of “Unlimited Synergy in Education,” which positions educators and educational personnel as complementary human capital within an integrated institutional performance ecosystem. This study contributes to the literature by integrating Human Capital Theory, Resource-Based View, and Professional Capital Theory into a comprehensive framework for educational human resource development. Practically, the findings provide strategic guidance for policymakers and educational leaders in designing sustainable competency development and performance enhancement initiatives.
